We have a kaleidoscope of local seasonal vegetables sourced from around the region served with every meal, whether the meal is meat or vegetarian. We try to make our farmers proud, by producing an array of vegetables, each one cooked and prepared differently, to enhance the flavour, texture and taste of each produce to make them “sing” and delight our vegetable lovers.
Public Guests- Breakfast is $35 per person includes continental buffet and cooked to order a la carte breakfast.
We feature meat cooked in our smokehouse and coastal seafood from Mooloolaba and Smoked Trout from Guyra . Free Range Organic Crackling Pork Shoulder and Brisket with Hickory Smoky Barbecue Sauce. We use fresh and local ingredients, collaborate with local producers, suppliers and services. We are at the heart of the Granite Belt food bowl and want to share our passions for quality food and produce with you. Girraween Country Inn Ballandean, on the Granite Belt highlands is one of Stanthorpe’s Romantic Wedding venues.
Experience a delightful wedding, where your guests will be treated to a Country Destination in the surrounds of natural bushland and boulders of the Granite Belt. There are multiple rooms at the Inn where you and your guests can celebrate your special day. From canapes and spectacular sunsets in the private function room overflowing into our gardens, to a function in a marquee on the grounds, whatever is your decision there are varied options on our 42 acres,with direct access to Girraween National Park for additional photo shoots.
On the property there is massive granite outcrops, large angular tors, and precariously balanced boulders. Spectacular wildflower displays splash colour among the granite in spring and all this makes a great setting for your wedding photos.
Why not book your next conference at the Inn. We have a large conference room (restaurant) with open fire and the national park direct access is great for team building walks, as well as a great escape for the weekend into the Darling Downs. The conference room is tailored to suit any business function – interviews, small training workshops and management meetings with full catering available.

- A small reception room for pre-wedding drinks and canapes has an open fireplace
- The Inn can accommodate the wedding party, friends and family, combining 6 King Rooms, Family Rooms and a Chalet with Loft that sleeps 8+
- There is also accommodation next door at the Ginyard and nearby in Eukey Road – we will gladly help with this arrangement
