We have the perfect mix of breathtaking natural landscapes, immersive wine experiences, fresh local produce and exhilarating events celebrated across four distinct seasons. Stomp your own grapes in award-winning wineries, tackle mountain peaks in World Heritage National Parks, discover an intriguing colonial past or watch a cowboy ride a bucking bull in Australia’s Rodeo capital. Welcome to our backyard, where the only thing you need to do is slow down, breathe deep and experience the essence of country life

Girraween means “place of flowers”, and the one of the best times to visit is in spring, September- November when the flora is at its most prolific. Many prefer the winter months, when they can enjoy open fires, local red wines and hearty food and perhaps even the chance of snow. Whatever the season you enjoy, the harvest season apple and grapes-Feb to April, bras monkey season-June to Aug, apple blossom season-end of Sept to Oct, or Christmas Dec to Jan, come whenever you wish, the Granite Belt is always beautiful, always welcoming.

In summer, you can expect temperatures to be 10 degrees, on average cooler than Brisbane. We are pet friendly, why not enjoy the scenery of the national park on our 42 acres, with your furry friends in toe, waking every day to a complimentary continental and full hearty table service breakfast, before you set off.

The Inn is surrounded by wineries and national parks, Girraween N.P, Bald Rock N.P, Boonoo Boonoo N.P, Sundown National N.P.’s.
