Shelley buys local so we can eat local !

Let me introduce you to “ Possum Lane Farm” in Thorndale which is  less than fifteen kilometers from Girraween Inn . At Possum Lane Farm , Shelley is sourcing in season small crops such as kale and tomatoes .

Possum Lane Farm is an off grid farm  an exciting concept become  reality  because of the visionary owners Leon , Nicolle and Rick  . 

Approaching the Farm the visitor twigs that this might be a ”greeny”  endeavor when they see the bank of solar panels . The water needed by the property is supplied  by the dam . There are also some tanks located beside the shed . The Farm encompasses 200 acres but only 5 acres are dedicated to farming , the remainder is dedicated to local biodiversity ; the endangered quoll calls” Possum Lane Farm” home and the rows of pear and apple trees are freely available to the finches !
