This weekend Stanthorpe celebrates it’s Snowflake Festival .
The temperatures are dropping and you never know some flakes may fall on the Inn . It has happened before see photo below of our Mandela Garden lightly dusted with snow . The festival is definitely country with whip cracking and a chainsaw sculpture competition. For the kiddies there is tobogganing on a snow field. Dinner at the Inn will be sourced from fresh and local ingredients such as crackling pork shoulder, there are vegetarian and vegan options available too. After relaxing in front of the log fire in the restaurant possibly with a local port , retire to your comfy room upstairs. Do remember to pack warmly ..it is the Snowflake Festival !
